About us
An owner-managed crane technology company from Austria: personal, independent of any manufacturer, and there when it matters.
Crane technology, second generation
Martin Znaymer
Owner and managing director
Crane technology has been part of Martin Znaymer’s life from an early age. Following in the footsteps of his father and his uncle, he developed a passion for the technical challenges of industrial cranes and lifting equipment.
Since 2009 he has worked on cranes of every make, specialising in mechanics, electrics, controls and fault diagnosis.
Good crane service does not start with replacing parts. It starts with understanding why something failed.

The company
MAZ Krantechnik looks after cranes and hoists across Austria: from maintenance and inspection to electrical engineering, automation and complete retrofits. MAZ Krantechnik GmbH is based in Vienna (Baudißgasse 10, 1110 Vienna) and registered with the Commercial Court of Vienna under FN 689767p.
Independent of any manufacturer
We work on systems of every make and brand, and recommend what is right for your system.
Honest advice
We tell you openly whether a repair is worth it or a retrofit is the better solution.
Safe and documented
Every inspection and every job is documented clearly, for you and for the inspector.
