We take the protection of your personal data seriously. We process your data solely on the basis of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG).

2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by a provider in Austria (Viennaweb, Vienna). When you visit the website, technically necessary data such as IP address, date and time, the page requested and browser type are stored in server log files. This is required for the secure and stable operation of the website (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The log files are deleted automatically after a short period.

3. Contact form, email and phone

If you contact us via the contact form, by email or by phone, we process your details (e.g. name, company, email address, phone number, message) to handle your enquiry and to prepare a quote (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We do not share your data without your consent. We keep it for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and beyond that only as required by statutory retention periods (e.g. 7 years under § 132 Austrian Federal Fiscal Code, BAO).

4. Job applications

We use application documents you send us by email solely for the application process (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). If no employment relationship results, we delete the documents no later than 7 months after the process has ended, unless you have agreed to a longer retention period.

5. WhatsApp

The WhatsApp button on our website does not load any WhatsApp content and sets no cookies. WhatsApp (WhatsApp Ireland Limited, Meta) only opens when you actively click “Start chat on WhatsApp”. From then on, WhatsApp’s privacy policy applies; data may be transferred to the USA.

6. Videos (YouTube)

Videos are embedded in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and only load when you click on a video. A connection to YouTube (Google Ireland Limited) is then established; data may be transferred to the USA (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, your consent by clicking).

7. Google Maps

Our address links to Google Maps. No maps are embedded; a connection to Google is only made when you click the link.

8. Fonts, cookies and local storage

All fonts are loaded from our own server; there is no connection to Google Fonts. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

Cookie consent (Complianz): Your choice in the cookie banner is stored in technically necessary cookies (cmplz_*) in your browser so that we can respect your decision (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the cookie settings. Details in our cookie policy.

Visitor statistics (Burst Statistics): To improve our website, we collect anonymous usage statistics (e.g. pages viewed, time on page, referring website, device type) with the WordPress plugin Burst Statistics. Measurement works without cookies and without fingerprinting; visitors are not recognised across days and IP addresses are not stored. The data is stored only on our own server and is not shared with third parties (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; legitimate interest in analysing and improving our website).

Your language choice (German/English) is stored only locally in your browser and is not transmitted to us.

9. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. Please contact office@mazkrantechnik.at.

If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority: Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.
